For being able to describe something is hard, imagine having to describe a feeling, that is harder. When you do something for the first time, you tend to be nervous, because that's part of doing something you haven't done. I'm going to describe "my first big success".
It was three years ago, in April 2010 to be exact, when I got an email that said that I was accepted at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. When I read that I started to yell so hard, that my throat hurt very bad the day after. After I got calmed down well I never calmed down I only stopped yelling, Ja Ja. I literally called every contact I had in my phone and of course I put it on my Facebook status, so that everyone would know that I got accepted at the best university in the island. I was very proud of myself that my hard work had payed off, and also my grand-mother, and my mother had graduated from this institution. So I was the third generation to come here to study.
I remember that the alarm guy was in my house when I got the good news, and that I jumped so hard that the chair from the dining table dropped to the floor and he started laughing at me. The sensation I got was butterflies in my stomach, and I could hear my heart pumping. I was so nervous for about the month before because the emails starts to getting to high school students since march, so when that month comes along the tensions arise. And there is when you start asking yourself, what I have done is it enough?, Am I gonna get in?, I should have study harder since the ninth grade, etc. And a lot of more questions you ask yourself and when you're friends get the emails before you, you start getting the bad vibes, that maybe this is a sign that I'm not gonna get in, I'm fucked up and I have to settle for another institution or another faculty with a lower "IGS". But when you get that email and see what you want to see you would feel the adrenaline kick in. It is the best feeling ever.

The image I selected is one from the magazine "Tu", from the section of Rate Bodies. I chose one from actor Zac Efron coming out from the beach. He looks absolutely HOT, it makes me wanna touch his firm abs and chest. Obviously if I can see his upper body he is shirtless, with some cargo pants. His hair is a little messy because of the water. Also he looks wet, well duh because he is still in the water. The water looks pretty calm, and also it looks like he's having fun in a sunny day. His arms look pretty tight too, but not too big. He looks like the guy that would go do a jog every morning and then hit the gym, he looks natural. That he takes the time and hard work to take care of his body, not injecting himself like some other people do to see the change quickly.
Even though I found him gorgeous, I chose this image because I love to go to the gym, and one day my goal is to look as tight and firm, but still looking lady like, not like a body builder. To look like Zac Efron you have to make diet too, which that is my weakest link because I love to eat more than anything in the world. But with these kind of pictures it motivates me to eat healthier because if you feel good in the inside you will look good in the outside.

From what I read on the internet about this particular subject is that there are more pros than cons. Some of the pros are that the criminality will fall down, because there would be no  reason for people to rob nor kill to get the drug. Also the price to consume marihuana will be cheaper, because many more people will be selling it. It also says that in Europe the criminality is lower than in the United States, and I think that is because over there the people are more open minded than here in the american culture.
Another thing that says is that apparently some universities have made clinical studies about long term damage if using marihuana, and there are none. Contrary to the addiction that causes the alcohol, and tobacco. Plus the severe conditions that produce the legal drugs. Some of the cons that the article talks about is that if the governement agrees to legalize the cannabis, they are teaching the children that it is okay to do drugs. Another thing is that the use of this "soft drug" as the author says can lead to the use of the "hard ones", like cocaine, heroine, etc.
From what I wrote earlier it is a resumed mini article of the one that I've found on the internet. I think this particular theme is a very strong, and important one because of the popularity of the use of the marihuana. My side on this subject is that they legalize it because people are still using it anyway, and if various studies say that the criminality will ease because the people will not have to go the hard way to find it nor sell it. Also people that smoke marihuana are happy, and if you feel like that, it is most unlikely to commit a crime.
When I went to Amsterdam to the famous "Red Zone", where smoking pot, and prostitution is legal, of course the majority of people were high, and also I learned that the criminality is very low. People would walk at night without the fear of being assaulted. I strongly disagree that the legalization will cause a historic difference, because people will still be using it like now, the only difference is that they will do it in public.
Another subject that I think would be very important to discuss is the economic one, like creating new jobs; looking for different ways to find a new source of energy, not meddling in other countries businesses, but worrying more from the ones we have now.

VI- Eliminating Wordiness 3
A large number of people enjoy reading murder mysteries regularly. As a rule, these people are not themselves murderers. They probably enjoy reading murder mysteries because of this reason: they have found a way to escape from the monotonous, boring routine of dull everyday existence.

To such people the murder mystery is realistic fantasy. The people in the murder mystery are as a general rule believable as people. They are not just made up pasteboard figures. The character who is the hero, the one who solves the murder mystery, solves it not usually by trial and error or haphazard methods but by exercising a high degree of logic and reason. It is absolutely and totally essential that people who enjoy murder mysteries have an admiration for the human faculty of logic.

The people who read such books of fiction play a game. It is a game in which they suspend certain human emotions. One of these human emotions that they suspend is pity. If the reader stops to feel pity and sympathy for each and every victim that is killed , that person will never enjoy reading murder mysteries. The devoted reader of murder mysteries keeps uppermost in mind at all times the goal of arriving through logic and observation at the final solution to the mystery offered in the book. It is a game with life and death. Whodunits hopefully help the reader to hide from the hideous horrors of actual life and death in the real world.

I would mention some murder mystery novels, and giving examples of people who likes to read them.

I need some practice in Eliminating Wordiness, those were my poorest results

I would like you to read my last article published, "Sing out loud".

Give me you're opinion about whatever you think it can benefit me for my futures articles. Because I know that I have a lot to learn about writing, but that comes up with experience, or you can say you're feedback about the content from it.
Enjoy the article.

Life is a roadtrip and full of adventures, we can tell it in different ways but this time I'm gonna tell mine with lyrics that define it. Let's start with the song "Daddy" from Beyonce. I think almost all the girls are from daddy, I was one, until he passed away and I think even though after that I still am. I've never heard it until recently and I absolutely loved it because us girls when we grow older, we look into our boyfriends for qualities that our fathers had. My favorite lyrics from the song are: "And that's what I want my unborn son, to be like my daddy, I want my husband to be like my daddy, and I thank you for lovin' me ( daddy, daddy, daddy)".

This song I dedicate to my late father, whom I love very much and miss him a lot, I think this sentence pretty much covers why I loved so much this song, and why I put it first in my list.

Another song that I adore is "Bendita tu luz" from "Mana", I started to listen to this band because of this piece. And I knew this one because in my fifteenth birth day, my mom made a movie with pictures of me since I was in her belly until that moment, and the background song was "Bendita tu luz".

I suppose that at the point we all are in our lives we have had our first love, I found mine when I was fifteen years old, and this song is kind of "cheesy", but for me it fits right into this kind of experience we all go through. The song is "Endless love" from Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.

Because I studied all my life in a Catholic School, they taught me how sacred it is everything about God, and how we have to attend Mass every Sunday. I did not found the song that I was looking that we sang at my school at very important activities. Even though I did not find it, it is part of whom I've become, because I spent studying ten years at that institution, and with that and my family, I've become the woman I am. The name of the song is: "Inmaculada Concepcion", by all means that is the name of my school, some of the lyrics are: "Ella, ella, es la Inmaculada, inmaculada, madre de Jesus, ella es, nuestra madre, ella es..."

Sadly as something starts it ends, even though we find our first love, at some point it's time to move on. This is the song that goes perfectly, it is "First love" from Adele. Almost everyone goes through with this too. And it is true, you never ever forget that first puppy love. Because I never do.
This song was one of my dad's favorite, and now that he has passed away, when I listen to it, it brings me back the memories of when I seated alongside with him in the passenger's seat, and he would put it out loud and sing it. And every time he did that I looked at him and smiled. Therefore now I realized that thanks to him I love "salsa" music, and dance it too, because he was the one that in every party made me dance with him. The song is "Tu con el" from the legendary Frankie Ruiz. My favorite part of the lyrics is: "Perdoname, no me di cuenta de ese juego y me enamore... despues fue tarde ya no podia volver atras y te queria, cada dia mas y mas". Because this number is so important to me, when I listen to it it gives me goosebumps but in a good way.
Going on about the songs that are important to me, this is the song that me and some friends were singing our hearts out when we were going to Club Brava two years ago. It was an epic and awesome party. Still today when we get together sometimes we talk about that night. The song is "XXX from Jowell y Randy with De la ghetto". Very deep the song ja, ja.

Another song that I love is from Rihanna ft. Chris Brown, "Birthday cake". That is another one that I was singing with one of my girlfriends before going out a year and a half ago, it was another epic and awesome party.
This song accompanied me the month I spent traveling around Europe, I swear that I heard it at least three times per day. For me it is important because that trip was the best in my entire life, sometimes I find myself thinking that I cannot believe that I went to all those amazing places at my age. The number is "In the end from Snow Patrol"
Even though some of my classmates say that I do not look like a gym fan, I am. In my earlier years I hated the idea of sweating but when I entered college and gained literally 15 pounds in ten months, well that did not go very well. So I started to go to the gym 5 times per week, and I discovered that it was my hour of relaxation, I leave my cell phone at the car so I am not disturbed nor interrupted, my only companion is my iPod. The type of music I like to hear when I'm working out is "pop" and the song that best describes it is: "Radioactive from Imagine Dragons".

Songs like this make my heart pound harder when working out. For me is the best feeling ever, because you know you are doing something healthy and psychiatrists say that exercise is the best anti-depresing, so whenever I'm feeling angry or sad I just look for the perfect partner, my iPod, and run it off.

This simply is my favorite song of all time, when I listen to it I literally stop whatever it is that I'm doing and sing my heart out, and it is from David Bisbal, Luis Fonsi, Aleks Syntek and Noel Schajris, "Aqui estoy yo". I heard it for the first time when I went to a Luis Fonsi concert, and he brought all of them to sing it, I have no words that can describe how beautiful it was to listen to them all live.

Another song that I absolutely adore is "Brujeria from El Gran Combo". My family and I listen to them when we are touring around the island, especially if were going to Yauco. I know that many people from my age don't know they're songs but I love them, I even work out listening to them sometimes.
This song was my wake up call the whole month I was in Europe, my roommates and I would put like five alarm clocks before the actual wake up call and the last one was this song, when I heard it I knew it was time to get up, and experience someplace new, and see stuff I only dreamt of. The song is: "Take you higher from Goodwill and Hook n Sling".
Another song that reminds me of my teenage years is: "Bajaera de panties" from Jowell y Randy. When I was in 8 through 10 grade, there was club named "Junker: the club", where us teenagers had "regueaton" parties, they would start at 8 and finish by 12, there would be no alcohol involved just music, and people from all over the schools nearby went there. I had a blast, and everyone who is from Hatillo through Vega Baja.

Last but not least, the song that I hate. I don't even have words to say why I don't like it. The song is: "Eres para mi" from Julieta Venegas. some of the lyrics are: "Temes sentir mas de la cuenta, el corazon es un musculo sino late revienta, extrano mirarte de lejos".

From all the songs listed above, the one that is my theme one is: "Daddy" because even though he is not physically here with me, he accompanies me everywhere I go. He was my best friend, and I knew that I can count on him. His passing has changed me, I don't look to life the same way I did, but life goes on, and I have to keep up with mine. But I always say to the people that asks me, how I am doing? I respond to them: "just there, hanging, but there is a part of me that died with him, and also a part of my soul is buried in Ciales with him".

In this list of songs you saw that I have the ones that remind me of my father, the ones from my best parties, from my first love, my fifteenth birthday and some more, life is not perfect but if you listen to music, and take it easy you're gonna be able to handle very well. Just live, laugh, and do the stuff you love.

Everyone that studies or have studied in UPRRP will laugh his/her ass off reading this article. I found it hilarious, also agree with her 100%. She did it on men, but does anyone has ever done it with girls?. I'm gonna start with COPU from which I belong to.  We have the reputation of being "bichas" because how some girls fit out to go to classes, but generally those girls that you see all dress up are from Public Relations, the ones in more serious outfits are from journalism and from Audiovisual are the girls that are dressed more "trashy", because this is the people that work behind cameras. From the "Sociales" faculty are the girls that are more "hippy", but they also can be confused as the Humanities. You can make the difference when you listen to them have a conversation, because the girl from "Sociales" generally is going to talk about politics, socialism, ideals, etc. But the one from Humanities, like Gabrielle Thurin said in her article are more poetic, has the artist side activated, or is gonna be talking about some play. Although this are the generalized description of those girls, not all of them are like that.
Continuing our analysis, let's proceed with the ones from Admi, those are more predictable because almost all of them want to be in Accounting to be Cpa's or get into law school, but they all go dress up.  On the other hand, the ones from the Natural Science department they always seem to be in a rush, sleepy and don't hang out as much as other girls from other faculties, as I seen those girls have variety because some of them go all dress up and other ones go like if they were going to clean their houses. Additionally in the Education department I personally have not been to that faculty but I have a friend of mine that studies there and she says to me that they don't go as trashy neither all dress up like in Admi. And last but not least the ones from Arquitecture, the truth is I'm in my fourth year here in UPRRP and I have never been to that faculty. But from what I hear is that they never sleep, always arrive late to their apartments if they arrive, I've only known one girl and she always looked like a mess.
Even though there are many styles here in the university there's no doubt indeed that we are the best and everyone that says that they have never wanted to study here is a liar.

I do not have three artists that are my favorites, I have many so this assignment is not gonna be so easy to pick specifically that amount. Let's start with Ricky Martin, I absolutely adore him, he's gorgeous, talented, he has a foundation that helps kids from being sex slaves. I have been a fan since I can remember because my mom adores him as well. Also I can listen to him any day and anytime because he has different kind of songs and rhythms, so if you are in a happy mood you can listen to "Come with me", that is his latest hit. Or if you are in a relaxed mood or you are just sad there is: "Vuelve" or "Y todo queda en nada", and many more.
I have been to his concerts and also I went to New York City to see him perform in "Evita".  This is his foundation site: "http://www.rickymartinfoundation.org/", although he is a very successful artist he takes the time to help those kids who need it. In the site you will find the latest things that the foundation has done for the kids, the people who invest in it, why Ricky decided to start it in the first place, etc. This is a quote from him about human trafficking: "You are not alone. We are with you. Put a stop to discrimination. Put a stop to hate. Put a stop to racism...Long live love, long live peace". The official site is this one: "http://rickymartinmusic.com/Home, where he has a blog, the ultimate news and performances, where he is going to go next, etc. Apparently he has a lot of fans in Australia because I found a facebook page that the name was Australian's friends of Ricky Martin: https://www.facebook.com/AustralianFriendsofRickyMartin

Another artist that I love is: Natalia Jimenez. I envy her voice, she has an amazing one. I can't even describe it with words. Last year I went to her concert here in Puerto Rico and I wanted to cry. My favorite time to listen to her is when I'm driving, I found it ridiculous but I love it. My favorite song is: "El sol no regresa".
Her official site is this one:"http://www.nataliajimenezmusic.com/site/
you find there pictures from her, the latest articles written to her, the awards she has won or has been nominated. She has all types of songs but I listen to her when I want to sing my heart out and when Im feeling kind of sad. She doesn't have a foundation but she appeared in "el teleton" to help those in need. http://www.teleton.cl/noticias/natalia-jimenez-y-chino-y-nacho-en-teleton-2012/, that is the article that was written when she made the appearance. Also when I went to her concert she made the announcement to send a text message to help the oncologic hospital of Puerto Rico, so she is an artist that is aware and concerned of the problems of the people.
As many artists she has a facebook page made from her fans, https://es-es.facebook.com/NataliaJimenezClubOficialDeFans. There you can see photos uploaded from her daily activities, next performances, fans writing to her, etc. As I said earlier I almost cried when I went to her concert, it was awesome. This is a quote from the band she was in "La quinta estacion": "No me hables de volar, prefiero caminar y así salir de ésta con vida...", from the song "Sin salida".
And last but not least, my other favorite artist to listen is: Rihanna. The kind of music she sings is for when you want to get pumped up about something, like for example when you are in the gym, or on you're  way to a pop, etc. I've never been to a concert of her unfortunately, but I love almost all of her songs. They are good to dance. Her official site is: http://rihannadaily.com, there you find the ultimate news of the artist, the dates and places of her next performances, clips of some of her songs, she even has a part of fashion where she uploads photos of her in outfits and tells her fans the designer and the price.
She takes the time to help ill children and made a foundation named Believe, to help them. The site of the foundation is this one: http://www.believerihanna.com, but it is under construction. The article that talks about some concerts she has done for charity and the price to the tickets is this: http://www.looktothestars.org/news/656-rihanna-performs-for-the-believe-foundation. Apparently in Costa Rica she has a lot fans because, she has a facebook page that the name is: "Rihanna Costa Rica club de fans", https://www.facebook.com/Rihanna.CostaRica.

If the artists do not keep updated from new social media, they are gonna be left behind because we live in a world that revolves around technology. Many people don't even read the newspaper, they get info from the internet. Also from the sites I found about these three artists they were all good, and easy to use because they had a part for everything, like if you wanted to see pictures of the artist, or see the latest articles, etc. Found this uploaded by a fan of her, absolutely adore it "Life's a game, but it's not fair, I break the rules because I don't care, so I keep doing my own thing, walking tall against the rain...". I agree with Rihanna on this one, because life is too short and goes on too fast, so we humans have to make the best of it. And as the quote says it: "If life gives you lemon make lemonades".

Unfortunately in this world if you don't have any money, you can not buy the things you need to survive. Like for example: medicines, food, shelter, education, etc. Some of these needs are essential like medicines because it concerns you're health. I hate it when I go to the pharmacy and see some people that can't buy the medicines they need or when some kid is sick with a very serious illness and can not receive the treatment because the parents don't have the money to get it. Although there are some people that make activities like fundraisers and other stuff to come up with the money is unfair that something that every people deserves they would need money to buy it.
That's why I would create a foundation to donate, deliver, and give  health services to people who does not have the resources to get them. I would start doing it here in Puerto Rico, and hopefully expand it to the United States. In the foundation would participate all kind of doctors, psychologists, etc. I dream that here in America the health system one day will be like the one in Europe, that everyone no matter the background they come from, receive the services and the medicines for free.
The vision and mission of "Angels in Earth"  is that no matter who is requesting the services it will not get denied or neglected. Because everybody deserves to live a healthy life without the money obstacle. Here is a link to an article that there are other foundations that care for the same problem that I do, also I hope that this little introduction will motivate you to join us or donate something because to make a difference here in Puerto Rico you have to start by making a difference in yourself.

Although my life has been pretty exciting, I have been through a couple of experiences that changed the way I feel, act and see the things that occurs to me.The film would be based on the last year and a half since my dad passed away and how my sister and especially me have been coping with the death of him , it would take place at present time, here in Puerto Rico. I chose the theme "An adventure", because life is like that, and depending on what kinds of experiences we go through is how we are gonna be like as people. I would like for the theme song to be "Turn to stone" by Ingrid Michaelson
